Request for Donations
Global Centre for Disaster Statistics (GCDS) was launched at the
Third United Nations World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai, March 2015. It aims at supporting the development of national disaster damage and loss database around the world together with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The Centre is to archive and analyze disaster damage and loss data, stimulate generating policy options for disaster risk reduction for policy makers at different levels. It also contributes to the United Nations for monitor progress in the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and Sustainable Development Goals.
In partnership with the United Nations, the GCDS is particularly focusing on assisting developing countries. We would highly appreciate your generous donations to our activities.
